    9.POWER SYSTEM OFF.
    ENSURE THAT PROPER ELECTROSTATIC GROUND PROCEDURES ARE FOLLOWED PRIOR TO
    HANDLNG PCB CARDS.
    BEGIN REPLACING AND INSTALLING THE DESIGNATED PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS IN CARD
    SLOTS IDENTIFIED BELOW. ENSURE THAT CARD COMPONENTS ARE ON LEFT SIDE OF THE
    BOARDS.
    (A)INSERT AND SEAT A CHARACTER TRUNK CARD (4CHT) IN CARD SLOT 14.
    (B)REPLACE THE CPMB CARD IN SLOT 20 WITH THE PACKAGE C ENHANCED
    CONTROL PROCESSOR MEMORY CARD (CPMC).
    (C)REPLACE THE MEMB CARD IN SLOT 21 WITH THE PACKAGE C ENHANCED
    MEMORY CARD (MEMC).
    REMOVE THE CS-20 PREVIOUSLY WIRED TO CARD SLOT 01, CIRCUIT 4 (FORMERLY
    DIRECTORY NUMBER 212). REPLACE THE INSTRUMENT WITH AN ATTENDANT CONSOLE
    INSTRUMENT.
    REMOVE THE BLF/DSS MODULE PREVIOUSLY WIRED TO CARD SLOT 01, CIRCUIT 5. REPLACE
    THE MODULE WITH AN ATTENDANT CONSOLE BLF/DSS MODULE WHICH WILL BE USED FOR
    ROOM STATUS INDICATION.
    WIRE CROSS CONNECTION AND INSTALL A DATA INTERFACE UNIT (WITH ATTACHED
    PRINTER) TO CARD SLOT 00, CIRCUIT 2. DEFAULT DIRECTORY NUMBER WILL BE 202.
    POWER SYSTEM ON AND COLD RESTART SYSTEM BY PRESSING RESTART BUTTON ON CPMC
    CARD WITH TOGGLE SWITCH IN UPPER POSITION.
    REPROGRAM THE ODDB.
    TEST OPERATION OF PACKAGE C PERIPHERALS.
