 Be sure to turn OFF the write protection (the func tion to prevent data from erasure by the acci-
dental recording or deleting) of the USB storage de vice before performing the check, otherwise 
this code cannot be used.
 It may take some time (2 sec. to 10 sec.) before t his check is completed depending on the USB 
storage device.

2.2.4 Test print mode (test mode 04)

Notes: 
1. When an error occurs, it is indicated on the panel , but the recovery operation is not per-
formed. Turn OFF the power and then back ON to clea r the error.
2. During test printing, the [CLEAR] button is disab led when “Wait adding toner” is displayed.
The embedded test pattern can be printed out by key
ing in the following codes in the test print mode 
(04).

Therefore, the problem of fusing efficiency may be  occurred in the test copy at the adjustment 
mode. In that case, turn ON the power normally, lea ve the equipment for approx. 3 minutes after 
it has become ready state and then start up the adj ustment mode again.
