    							ChangingthePrintOptionsYou can change the detailed printer driver settings for print data that is sent from an application software.Specify this option if you encounter print failures such as part of an image data being cut off.
    The procedure for changing the print options is as follows:1.
    Open the printer driver setup window
    2.
    Click  PrintOptions...  on the PageSetup  tab
    The PrintOptions  dialog box opens.

    							RegisteringaFrequentlyUsedPrintingProfileYou can register the frequently used printing profile to  CommonlyUsedSettings on the QuickSetup  tab.
    Unnecessary printing profiles can be deleted at any time.
    The procedure for registering a printing profile is as follows:
    RegisteringaPrintingProfile1.
    Open the printer driver setup window

    Set the necessary items
    From  CommonlyUsedSettings  on the QuickSetup  tab, select the printing profile to be used and if
    necessary, change the settings after  AdditionalFeatures.
    You can also register necessary items on the  Main and PageSetup  tabs.

    Click Save...
    The SaveCommonlyUsedSettings  dialog box opens.

    Save the settings

    							Enter a name in the Name field. If necessary, click  Options..., set the items, and then click  OK.
    In the  SaveCommonlyUsedSettings  dialog box, click OK to save the print settings and return to the
    QuickSetup  tab.
    The name and icon are displayed in  CommonlyUsedSettings.

    							ManagingthePrinterPowerThis function allows you to manage the printer power from the printer driver.
    The procedure for managing the printer power is as follows:
    PowerOff
    The  PowerOff  function turns off the printer. When you use this function, you will not be able to turn the
    printer on from the printer driver.

    Open the printer driver setup window
    2.
    Execute power off
    Click  PowerOff  on the Maintenance  tab. When the confirmation message appears, click  OK.
    The printer power switches off, and the  Maintenance tab is displayed again.

    							ReducingthePrinterNoiseThe silent function allows you to reduce the operating noise of this printer. Select when you wish to reduce
    the operating noise of the printer at night, etc.
    Using this function may lower the print speed.
    The procedure for using the quiet mode is as follows:

    Click  QuietSettings  on the Maintenance  tab
    The  QuietSettings  dialog box opens.

    The procedure for configuring  CustomSettings is as follows:

    Open the printer driver setup window
    2.
    Make sure that the printer is on, and then click  CustomSettings on the Maintenance
    tab
    The  CustomSettings  dialog box opens.

    To disable detection of paper setting mismatches, select this check box.
    InkDryingWaitTime You can set the length of the printer rest time until printing of the next page begins. Moving the
    slider to the right increases the pause time, and moving the slider to the left decreases the time. If the paper gets stained because the next page is ejected before the ink on the printed page
    dries, increase the ink drying wait time. Reducing the ink drying wait time speeds up printing.4.
    Apply the settings
    Click  OK and when the confirmation message appears, click  OK.
    The printer operates with the modified settings hereafter.
