							Settings(OCR)DialogBoxClick  OCR on the 
 (Scanning from a Computer) tab to display the  Settings(OCR) dialog box.
In the  Settings(OCR)  dialog box, you can make advanced settings for extracting text from scanned images.
(1) Scan Options Area
(2) Save Settings Area
(3) Application Settings Area
(1)ScanOptionsArea SelectSource Select the type of item to be scanned.

						

							PaperSizeSelect the size of the item to be scanned.
When you select  Custom, a screen in which you can specify the paper size appears. Select a  Unit,
then enter the  Width and Height , and then click  OK.

							Settings(E-mail)DialogBoxClick  E-mail  on the 
 (Scanning from a Computer) tab to display the  Settings(E-mail) dialog box.
In the  Settings(E-mail)  dialog box, you can specify how to respond when attaching images to an e-mail
after scanning them using the scanner button.

ColorMode , PaperSize , and Resolution  automatically as well.

							Click to display the DocumentScanOrientationSettings  dialog box in which you can set the
orientation and binding side of the documents to be scanned from the ADF.
