    A single  periodically repeats to indicate that the Voice
    Messaging System is still recording
    To see how  Voice  System messages you have in your
    voice mailbox:
    Look for:MSG Fast  (green)
    Listen for: Periodic voice  message
    Do not lift handset.
    Press MSG.Look for:Display  the number of messages left in your mailbox
    To activate Personal Answering  Emulation (ONYX IV):
    Press INTERCOM.
    Look for:INTERCOM OnListen for: Dial  tone
    Dial Listen for:Dial tone stops
    Press  or dial Voice Messaging master extension number.
    Dial 
     and press HF to  up.Look for:INTERCOM Off
    MSG Slow Flash
    To cancel Personal Answering  Emulaticni (ONYX IV):

    							VOICE PROMPTING MESSAGES
    Description
    The system plays Voice Prompting 
     to inform a user of the status of
    their call. Voice Prompting Messages help a user as the call progresses. In
    addition, Voice Prompting Messages remind users when they have activated
    certain features (such as Call Forwarding). The chart below shows the Voice
    Prompting Messages.
    Voice Prompting Messages are not available in VS.

    							VOLUME CONTROLS
    Description .
    Each 
     and ESL telephone has three separate volume adjustments:
    Background Music. handset and Handsfree. The Background Music
    adjustment also sets the volume of incoming ringing and paged
    announcements. With Volume Controls. each kevset or ESL user 
    individually set volumes to their most  level.
    When the user sets the volume for Background Music and Intercom calls
    (handset or Handsfree), the level remains until the user changes it. When the
    user sets the level for outside calls (handset or Handsfree), the level remains
    only for that call. The system reestablishes a mid-range (nominal) level for
    the next outside call.
    Pressing the VOL UP or VOL DN key changes the volume by 3 
     This
    doubles or halves the volume level. For example, to reduce the volume by 9
     the user presses VOL DN three times. To increase the volume by 9 
    the user presses VOL UP three times.

    Feature Operation
    To adjust the volume of Background Music, incoming ringing and paged
    announcements:
    Step 1 lPress VOL UP A or VOL DN  while feature is active.
    To adjust the handset volume:
    Step 
     Press VOL UP A or VOL DN  while on a handset call.When you hang up, the volume level for outside calls reverts to a mid-range value.
    The volume level for Intercom calls, however, stays at the set value until you change
    it.
    To adjust the Handsfree (speaker) volume:
    Step 1 Press VOL UP A or VOL DN  while on a Handsfree call.When you hang up, the volume level for outside calls reverts to a mid-range value.
    The volume level for Intercom calls, however, stays at a set value until you change
    it.
    The volume level setting for the previous Handsfree Intercom call determines the
    volume of your incoming voice announcements.

    Service dialing restrictions. This helps a user that must place an important

    restrictions (refer to the Class of Service feature):
