    To select an option from the  Menu:
    Step 1 lPress the indicated key.For example. to set the system date and time, press T. All your entries must beupper case.
    Entering an Access
    Code
    When you enter data at the programming terminal, the system may ask you to
    enter an access 
     (password). As you can see from the ACCESS LEVEL
    column on the Main Menu, the system has three access (password) levels: O-2.
    Level 0 programming options don’t require you to enter a password. To use
    Level 1 options (such as AP), you must first enter the level 1 or 2 password.
    To use level 2 options (such as GA). you must first enter the level 2 password.
    Refer to the System Programming Password Protection feature for more
    information.
    To enter an access code (if you press a key and see, “ENTER ACCESS
    CODE”):
    Step  lEnter the level 1 or 2 Access Code, as required.
    The default level 1 password is carriage return (ENTER).
    The default level 
     password for ONYX II is 
    The default level 7 password for ONYX  is 
    The default level  password for VS key is ONYXVSK.
    The default   password for VS hybrid is ONYXVSH.
    If 
     install an  Module in VS and don’t initialize, the level  password is
    DCH.

      Press RETURN.

    							INTRODUCTION
    The Sub-Menus
    Certain Main Menu options  sub-menus. When vou type a letter for a
    Main Menu option. 
     see a prompt   that the option has a
    sub-menu. If you press RETURN. 
     see the sub-menu. The sub-menu
    shows additional options. For esample. when you type

    Entering Data? The
    Basics
    To enter data for an option. just access the option and type in the appropriate
    response.
    For some options you have to press RETURN after your response,
    for others you don’t.
    When you access an option. you see the option’s prompt followed by the
    current programmed value. For most options, pressing RETURN leaves the
    current programmed value unchanged.
    Sote:When programming the E options for trunks,’ you can enter the trunk
    extension  number  (e.g., 4SO) or the trunk number

    To erase an entry, different options require different responses. Refer to the
    appropriate option in this section if you need to

    When programming Class of Service (CP). you usually enter a  for each

    clears out any unnecessary error log reports that may have occurred during
    installation.
    Use the QE- Line Gain Table option to set the relative gain for each trunk.
    Refer to this option to find out how to test the trunk signal levels before
    you adjust the gains.
    Use 
     to reset the system queue elements.
    Use FC2 to reset the trunk circuit and line/trunk PCB fail counters

    Use this option to enable disable continued dialing for extensions. With
    continued dialing. the telephone outputs a digit over a trunk each time the user
    presses a dial pad

    after the user dials their last digit.
    Conditions
    Toll level 0  has Continued Dialing.
