Specify the tray to be selected when Auto Paper Select is released.
1Follow the procedure described in How to access the Administrator 
Setting Screen on page 16-3 to display the Administrator Setting 
Screen.
2Touch [6 Copier Setting].
The Copier Setting Screen will be displayed.
3Touch [Select Tray when APS OFF] on the Copier Setting Screen. 
Select either [Tray Before APS ON] or [Default Tray] under Job Setting 
in the right side area of the screen.
– [Tray Before APS ON]: Use the tray selected before APS is 
specified.

4Touch [Close] to return to the Administrator Setting Screen.

Specify the tray to be loaded with paper for Cover Mode and Insert Sheet 
functions.
1Follow the procedure described in How to access the Administrator 
Setting Screen on page 16-3 to display the Administrator Setting 
Screen.
2Touch [6 Copier Setting].
The Copier Setting Screen will be displayed.
3Touch [Select Tray for Insert Sheet] on the Copier Setting Screen. The 
Insert Sheet Tray Selection Screen will be displayed.

4Touch the desired tray key to highlight it.
5Touch [OK] to complete the setting.
– To cancel the change, touch [Cancel].
In either case, the Copier Setting Screen will be restored.

If further changes are required, touch the desired key.

When the trays contain only the paper size different from the original, rotate 
the image of the original and adjust to fit into the copying paper size.
1Follow the procedure described in How to access the Administrator 
Setting Screen on page 16-3 to display the Administrator Setting 
Screen.
2Touch [6 Copier Setting].
The Copier Setting Screen will be displayed.
3Touch [Image Rotation] on the Copier Setting Screen.Select either, 
[APS/AMS] or [APS/AMS/Reduction] under Job Setting in the right side 
area of the screen.
4Touch [Close] to return to the Administrator Setting Screen.
If further changes are required, touch the desired key.

Specify whether or not to accept print data while copy operation is in 
process.
1Follow the procedure described in How to access the Administrator 
Setting Screen on page 16-3 to display the Administrator Setting 
Screen.
2Touch [6 Copier Setting].
The Copier Setting Screen will be displayed.
3Touch the down arrow key to scroll to the next page, then touch [Print 
Jobs During Copy Operation]. Select the desired condition key under 
Job Setting in the right side area of the screen.
– [Accept]: Accept print data and start printing immediately.
– [Receive Only]: Accept print data and start printing when copy 
operation is completed.

4Touch [Close] to return to the Administrator Setting Screen.

16.6 9 Security Setting
1 Administrator Password
Set the new administrator password.
1Follow the procedure described in How to access the Administrator 
Setting Screen on page 16-3 to display the Administrator Setting 
Screen.
2Touch [9 Security Setting], then touch [1 Administrator Password].
The Administrator Password Setting Screen will be displayed.

3Enter the current password.
– Password entry is limited to 8 alphanumerical characters.
– The password is case sensitive.
– If entered password is wrong or less than 8 characters, an error 
message will be displayed on touching [OK] and any key on the 
control/touch panel will be unavailable for the next five seconds. 
Enter the correct password after five seconds.
– Wrong operations will be recorded in the audit log.
Touch [OK].
4Enter the new password, then touch [OK].
5Enter the new password again for confirmation, then touch [OK]. Or, 
touch [Cancel] to cancel the change.
In either case, the Security Setting Screen will be restored.
6If further changes are required, touch the desired key.
