of the DEFINITY ONE Administrator’s 
login group.

From the b ac kup and  restore main menu, you c an:
nPerform immediate backups
nSchedule multiple b ackup s
nRestore b ac kup s
nAccess last scheduled backup information
nView c ontents of bac kup  loc ation
NOTE:
As you navig ate the b ac kup  and restore sc reens, the main menu items 
remain availab le. If you are using  the Web , use the Bac k b utton to return to 
p revious sc reens.

Perform immediate backup
To p erform an immed iate b ac kup , c lic k Immed iate Bac kup.
The following sc reen d isp lays:
1. From the Destination menu, selec t a b ac kup  d estination.This c an b e a 
LAN ad d ress or a PCMCIA Flash Disk
2. Selec t items for immed iate b ac kup .
3. .Click Bac kup.
NOTE:
When b ac king  up to a LAN ad d ress, a shared  d rive must b e installed  on a 
non- DEFINITY ONE mac hine.

Viewing backup progress
To view b ac kup  prog ress, clic k View Bac kup  Prog ress.

Viewing scheduled backups
To view scheduled  b ackup s:
1. Click Sched uled  Backup s.
The following sc reen d isp lays: 
From this screen, you can add, edit, or delete scheduled backups.
NOTE:
The b ac kup  feature c an b e d isab led  and  later enab led to allow you to 
p erform another func tion. If d isab led, the c urrent sc hed ules remain intac t. 
Adding a new scheduled backup 
(multiple backup schedules)
To add  a new sc hed uled  bac kup  to the list:
1. On the Current list of sc hed uled  b ac kup  job s sc reen, c lic k Ad d  new 
sched ule.

2. Selec t b ac kup  d estination either to a LAN ad d ress or a PCMCIA Flash 
Disk.
3. Selec t items for sc hed uled  bac kup .
4. Selec t a d ay and  time for the b ac kup .
5. Click Sub mit.
Changing a scheduled backup 
1. To change an existing scheduled backup, click on Scheduled Backups.
The Current List of scheduled backup jobs displays:
2. Click on the pencil symbol next to the scheduled backup you want to 
change.
The Changing this backup schedule displays:
3. Make any changes as appropriate, and click Submit.
The Current list of scheduled backups displays. The changes are activated.
